Demo at the Ambassy of Polen in Barcelona | 11. June 2005 |
Hello everyone! Around 15/20 people gathered in front of the
polish consulate in barcelona, pictures have been taken but are still to
be developed, the consulate was closed, but a spanish translation of the
letter has been both faxed and put on the front door ofthe consulate. A banner saying no homofobia (gay rights = human rights was not well translatable in spanish) and explaining the reason of the protest (for freedom of expression against banning of warsaw gay pride) was hung in the middle of the street between two trees so that people passing by were made aware (it was a very crowded street!). It went well. I kiss you all, hoping the other protests went also fine, and happy to hear polish LGBT were parading anyway!!! XXXXX |
